What is Psilocybin Services?
Psilocybin is a naturally occurring psychedelic compound found in over 200 species of mushrooms. Research suggests that psilocybin may help address depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has designated psilocybin a 'breakthrough therapy' for the treatment of depression. Although psilocybin services are now a health and wellness option in Oregon, psilocybin is still a Schedule I substance under the federal Controlled Substances Act (CSA).
In Oregon, "psilocybin services" refers to preparation, administration, and integration sessions. While no prescription or referral from a medical or clinical provider is necessary, a client must be 21 years of age or older and is required to complete a preparation session with a licensed facilitator. The client will only access psilocybin at a licensed service center during an administration session in the presence of a trained, licensed facilitator. Integration sessions will be made available to each client after an administration session.
How does it work?
I am offering expertly guided psilocybin sessions for individuals seeking deeper introspection, clarity or breakthrough from persistent mental health concerns that have otherwise been unachievable with traditional methods.
My training in psychedelic assisted therapy was completed in 2022 with the Integrative Psychiatry Institute and I received my Oregon facilitator license in 2023. I am now offering psilocybin experiences at Fractal Soul [https://fractalsoulpdx.com/] in Beaverton, OR. The price for all psilocybin journeys includes:
-
Day Pass to the service center, where you can select the private room of your choice and have full-day access to their facility;
-
Preparation, where we do an intake, complete all necessary paperwork and set intentions;
-
Administration of the psilocybin in a guided session; and
-
Integration sessions afterwards, where you process your experience and explore how you can apply it to your life. OHA does not require integration sessions; however, most people find them extremely beneficial and an integral part of the healing process.
